Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Scale Us Technologies LLP, Indore, India ("Scale Us", "we") for the Glassfold app and this website. By installing or using Glassfold you accept them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
1. The app
Glassfold shows visual transitions when an Android foldable is opened or closed. It works on devices that report a hinge or fold state to Android; behaviour depends on your device's sensors and software, and we cannot guarantee it on every model or Android version.
2. Free and Pro
- The free version includes a limited set of effects and shows ads. A rewarded ad can unlock one Pro effect for 24 hours.
- Glassfold Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly, sometimes with a free trial) sold through Google Play. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and include applicable taxes as handled by Google.
- The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. If a free trial is offered and you do not cancel before it ends, the first paid period is charged.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies.
3. Accounts
An account is optional. If you create one, give a valid email address and keep it secure. You may delete it at any time at glassfold.scaleus.in/delete-account.
4. Acceptable use
Do not reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app; do not try to unlock Pro without paying or to interfere with our servers; and do not use the app in breach of law. We may suspend Pro entitlements obtained by fraud.
5. Accessibility service
The optional Accessibility service is used only to detect folding and to capture the current screen in memory for the animation, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disable it at any time.
6. Intellectual property
The app, effects, designs and brand are owned by Scale Us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. We will post changes here and, if material, show them in the app. You may stop using the app at any time.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Indore having jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country.
